Athos Oysteindatter

Athos is an 11 year old social outcast. The 6th grade is a tough place, and she's been out of the social loop for a few years. Cute, and very odd, Athos doesn't care what other kids think, she simply is who she wishes to be. A self admitted nerd, Athos also appears as the college sophomore who's memories are the basis for this comic.

Porthos Robinowitz

Porthos, age 12, is too smart for her own good. A unique personality with a high IQ, Porthos is naturally a nerd. She's a bit of a transcendentalist, so her lack of friends doesn't bother her. Porthos also appears as a college sophomore who's experiences are the basis for this comic.

Aramis Wampanoag

Aramis is 10 years old. She is a grade younger than her two friends, and does slightly better socially. Aramis is rather naive, and extremely gullible. She also appears occasionally as a college student.

D'Artagnan Puntodelpolka

A boy who's a friend of the musketeers. Another weird kid. In the college comics, Athos's boyfriend.

Minor

Mr. Pan

Principal of the school. Has no sense of humor or fantasy. He's a faun. Ironic, isn't it?

Dr. Stewart Tweezle (aka Sir Ignatius of Antioch)

The school psychologist, and a knight in the SCA. (Well, a whitescarf. But I have to simplify it for the mundanes.) I'm pretty sure he's a skunk.

Mrs. Galvin

Athos and Porthos's 6th grade teacher. A generally good teacher, but oblivious to the problems of her more unique students. She might be a bushbaby, but I'm really not sure. Mayeb some kind of marsupial?

Megan Kanin

Aquaintance and classmate of Athos and Porthos. She hangs out with the popular people, but isn't openly hostile. She would actually give them the time of day.

Molly

Molly is a fifth grader in Aramis's class. Yes, she is human. Why? Because its funny.

Freddy

Another classmate of Aramis's. He's a hedgehog because they look funny when surprised.

Stephen Gaiser

Named and modeled exactly after Stephen Geiser of Bedford Open Elementary School. Stephen either hated me or liked me, but either way, he made an unfun elementary school experience even more distasteful. In 6th grade we had to square dance, and of course, I has partnered with Stephen. He tried repeatedly to run me into walls, tables, and other students. When he wasn't staring at me, he was throwing paper wads, or possibly spitting in my direction. I never figured out why me. I hope he sees this, wherever he is. Isn't it funny how you can completely mess with someone's childhood, and now he probably doesn't even remember? Thank you Stephen, I only have to picture your face when I feel the need to be really mad.
