Since this is a semi-autobiographical comic, I thought I'd clarify which parts are actually true.

Porthos is a vegetarian. Tabitha likes tofu. I believe, after having tried many different tofu dishes, and attempting to give it chance, that tofu came to our planet from a distant star and would be bent on world domination if it weren't so wibbly.

I think I could live in a world dominated by tofu. I mean at least tofu won't try to eat us. I suppose they could use humans as slaves, but who knows what it is a tofu really wants...
